2012 Shingleback Haycutters Sauvignon Blanc Semillon
Sauvignon Blanc Semillon
"Light straw-green; a pleasant well-balanced blend bringing together a gentle mix of lemongrass and tropical fruits, with a long finish. 89 pts."

"Blended of 51% Sauvignon Blanc and 49% Semillon, 2012 Haycutters Sauvignon Blanc Semillon has expressive aromas of lemon curd, apple tart and beeswax with a touch of lime leaves. Light-bodied with a good intensity of honeyed citrus fruit flavors, it has a long refreshing finish. Drink this one now through 2014."

Tasting note
Haycutters Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon is a partnership of districts with fragrant Sauvignon Blanc from the Adelaide Hills being complemented by textured Semillon from McLaren Vale.
Aromas of citrus, freshly sliced tropical fruit and poached pears with cream lift from the glass. The finely textured palate is filled with the flavours of pink grapefruit and honeydew melon supported with a hint of toasted pine nut. The natural acidity of the wine ensures a long and enticing finish.
