Tasting Note:

In the outstanding 2012 vintage a couple of special rows of Davey Estate Shiraz were left to concentrate until late in the season. At the optimum designated moment of fermentation, grape spirit was added to lock in the sweetness and preserve the wine.

This fortified Shiraz will reward careful cellaring. The sweet dark compote of fruit flavours is enhanced with the spirit warmth, matching beautifully with coffee and chocolate or a selection of cheeses.
