McLaren Vale enjoyed an exceptional vintage in 2004.
Following a cool, wet winter, bud break was later than
usual but with the arrival of spring, conditions changed
quickly. Temperatures warmed significantly, rushing
the harvest. At the first sign of an overly vigorous
vine, vineyards were hand-thinned to balance the vine
and lower yields. By harvest, the combination of ideal
crop levels and perfect summer ripening conditions produced
rich, high-quality fruit.

This slightly green, pale golden wine is brimming with
fresh citrus and creamy peach aromas. On the palate,
the wine has a rich, creamy mouth feel, a result of
sur lie aging. Fresh and fruity, with citrus and stone
fruit character, the zesty finish is perfectly balanced
with just enough acidity to carry the fruit.
